The Wizard of Oz, is completely reimagined. I woke up thinking about a few of the scenes, so simply mindblowing how they were redone, but so smart. There will be those who may not appreciate the stray from the reality of Lollipop Guilds and flying monkeys, but this movie is simply wonderfully done.

This was one of the weirdest movies I've ever seen in my 57 years. I think it might be best appreciated by a teenager high on drugs. It brings to mind 1970s psychedelic movies. Meaningful connections to The Wizard of Oz were very few. I was hoping for some version of the scene where the Wizard passes out gifts that the recipients really already have, but there was nothing like that. Come to think of it, I'm not even sure who the Wizard was supposed to be. The lawyer?? On the plus side, it was often visually interesting. And Dora was easy on the eyes. This is one of those movies that might be better with the sound turned off.

Almost 2hrs of clownery with no real substance, no real story to follow, incredible predictable & poor writing. Feels like the actors step on to set without any direction or script and improvised without following any storyline.

Exploratory and aesthetically captivating. Sexy while being refreshingly unsexualized. Sprinkles of queerness that feel celebratory without becoming an unnecessary focus. Strange in a way that feels genuinely expressive.
