Variety Staff Variety The brother angle does give this story a distinctive dimension, and the brothers Estevez and Sheen, their pates shaved to help them represent the odd-looking Mitchells, do an uncanny, genuinely impressive job. Feb 4, 2008 Full Review Cole Smithey ColeSmithey.com Tasteful, dramatic, and fascinating, "Rated X" is a damned good movie that is sorely overlooked. This is one wild ride of a biopic. Rated: FOUR STARS Sep 26, 2024 Full Review Maitland McDonagh TV Guide The film inevitably streamlines and neatens up the Mitchell's spectacularly messy lives. But for anyone who missed the short but influential era of porno chic, it's an eye-opener, a primer on how we got here from there. Audience Member Quite likeable actually. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member While it may not give us a full sense of what these men's work would incite, 'Rated X' is salvaged by two capable leads and plenty of fun with behind the scenes antics. Seeing how something like porn is almost treated as an art of its own is fascinating, even if the narrative jumps from film to film. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member 151009: What a mess. Marilyn only plays a small part, and Tracy Hutson is not Marilyn. Story of the Mitchell brothers and their lives...a mess; a pioneering mess but still a mess. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I don't see why "Rated X" got all the hate it did. The only problem was it's a little slow, I give it a 4/5. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Love this lots of pussy Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Not sure what to think of this film. Interesting but not so entertaining. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Read all reviews
