Hardly the disaster its reputation would have you believe, Rawhead Rex is a perfectly fine, very average creature feature with a, yes, very unfortunate immobile prosthetic head. Si bien esta película es fiel al relato original en cuanto al argumento, hay muchos elementos que fueron dejados atrás dando como resultado una típica película de monstruos que es igual de entretenida. La gran diferencia es que el relato original está lleno de crudeza y momentos desagradables sin olvidar mencionar que la apariencia de Rawhead Rex es muy diferente al de la película. Puede que Clive no haya quedado satisfecho con el resultado, pero al menos nos trajo una cinta de culto cuyos efectos especiales y diseño del monstruo son lo más disfrutable de la película para cualquier amante de la serie B. Mi nota para esta película es un 8/10. I never read the book so i don't know how they compare, but the movie had no real plot at all and unless you visit Wiki or read up about stuff after it, you'll be left confused by a lot. If i watched this as a kid in the 80's i'd have enjoyed it a lot more because the special effects / gore were actually alright and the first kill / house raid were filmed well also but it just goes downhill after the first 15 minutes or so.
