I’m glad I watched Re: Uniting. It’s not a perfect film, suffering from some first-time director blues but I loved the concept, the performances, and the incredible chemistry between the actors. And of course, those amazing lake views.

Overall, viewers are treated to some enjoyable snippets; gorgeous landscapes, high-stakes drama, characters working through inner turmoil. But in terms of a cohesive, memorable experience from start to finish? It misses the mark.

I'd say the film is a lovely tale with a bit of a neo Big Chill vibe, although that’s not fair to either movie. It does have some trenchant, cogent things to say about choices and decisions we make early in life and then exist with for the rest of it.

This was such an engaging movie with stellar acting and plot. It was so intense near the end and definitely a tearjerker. The soundtrack was exceptional as well. Sure I've seen tons of movies of this type so it was a little predictable but it was still a great watch.
