Alain E @AlainE Dec 1 This is exceptional TV, I would say on par with the original The Bridge. The situations are handled very well. The protagonist has some personal issues but we get a decent explanation for the causes. More importantly not every other character is a tortured psychopath as is often the case in American serials. Ida Engvoll is both beautiful and a good actor. In the beginning we are given information about the female pregnant police officer’s family life. After the baby comes this angle is totally ignored. The screenwriter refused to offer any suggestion of happy ending. In the very last scene Rebecka rejects her life in the capital and returns in her little provincial town. She approaches the house of the colleague she had a brief hookup, but she never enters. Curtain. Engvoll left aster the completion of the first season. The second season is also available on Prime and it is a complete disappointment. After watching for 10 minutes, I gave up. See more Read all reviews
