After surviving an assault from a squad of hit men, retired CIA agent Frank Moses (Bruce Willis) reassembles his old team for an all-out war. Baring just a slight resemblance to the far more serious and violent graphic novel on which it’s based, “RED” never veers far outside traditional action/comedy boundaries yet delivers welcomed surprises at every turn.

Criticisms - Generic Plot: Government conspiracy tale feels by-the-numbers. - Tonal Shift: Fans of the comic might find the shift to comedy jarring. - CGI: Some effects haven't aged perfectly. Verdict A blast from start to finish, elevated by its cast. Recommended for fans of action comedies and veteran actors.

No amount of good acting from impressive cast, directing and producing can save the terrible script writing by Joe and Erich Hoeber... Just look at the other trash they had done. I really hoped to like it, but RED was so bad... It hurts me to see good actors wasting their time on this. The pacing is terrible, the characters are so cliche and cartooney... it's a constant cringe from beginning to the end. The recognizable tropes and gags don't help much (some did not age well). It just leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Almost a parody of bad action movies. And it should not be rated as PG-13 because some violence is too much (e.g. hanging of a person). I don't understand how Hollywood with all the money cannot hire better writers! Bleh!

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas de ação são fracas, o elenco é bacaninha, mas ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, a história é mais ou menos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes para fazer o filme ser bom.
