Florence J We loved this! What a pleasure to watch! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/24/24 Full Review kyle m The Citizen Kane of dog films, and the only one in the genre that actually aims for the demographic that are best friends with canines. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review isla s This is a warm hearted, charming, sometimes sad and sometimes amusing family friendly watch. I was intrigued by the story given its based on a true story and I enjoyed the various characters. I like how the dog brought the local community together and the theme of the somewhat underdogs sticking up for themselves against others in the perhaps outskirts of town. This is a nice watch and I would recommend it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Great movie, I cried. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Family movies about loyalty are rare - and the story of Red and his community is a good one (and a tear jerker). Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member How can you not like a movie like this? What this has done well, is provide a perfect level of comedy to the story, which makes it enjoyable, and enhances the heartfelt moments Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

London Evening Standard Pretty sappy stuff, but the film-makers use knowing humour to snare more cynical viewers and are well-served by the cast. Rated: 3/5 Feb 24, 2012 Full Review Empire Magazine Rated: 3/5 Feb 24, 2012 Full Review Ashley Clark Little White Lies Heart's in the right place, but very broad and quite irritating too. Rated: 2/5 Feb 24, 2012 Full Review James Croot Stuff.co.nz Red Dog still boasts plenty of Ocker charm, thanks to an eclectic cast of character actors. Rated: 3/5 Jul 6, 2022 Full Review Lucy Popescu CineVue Flaws are balanced, however, by some terrific performances and Geoffrey Hall's superb cinematography. Rated: 4/5 Dec 13, 2018 Full Review Kaleem Aftab The List An endearing, funny, idiosyncratic tale, director Kriv Stender's film is made up of a series of hilarious and tearjerking scenes of human folly.
