Taking its cue from The Purge (2013) and Assassination Nation (2018), this grimly allegorises a country all too easily polarised against itself, street by bloody street. For once those letters have arrived, everyone goes postal.

Even in its runtime, the movie disappoints by the sheer laziness of never pushing the screenplay to a possibly climactic finale. Instead, we get weak family non-drama and a series of uninteresting horror moments relying way more on blood than guts.

Why couldn’t this concept/idea have gotten into the hands of a good director and some good actors 😫😫 . This could have been so good . There is nothing worse than when acting is so poor it ruins a great idea . 1.7. When you figure it out ...... it was so painfully obvious .

Concept had potential however the script was idiotic. It's one of those movies that completely annoys you as it strives for drama but only succeeds in questioning your intelligence. This movie will lower your I.Q. if viewed more than once.

One of the worst movies (impressively) I've seen in a while. Horrible acting. awkward dialogue, nonsensical plot. It was such hot garbage. I wanted to think the film was just being an ironic parody of cliche horror, but I think that's giving too much credit to the director. Pretty sure there's no subtext here.

"I don't believe this. I don't believe any of this," said one character. I don't either. The premise has nothing to hold it up. Motivation=getting a letter. That is supposed to make you go kill someone? Beyond stupid. They give people money to make this garbage.
