Jay T Great movie, I don't know why some people are so down on it. Very entertaining Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 07/18/23 Full Review Laurie S It was much better than I expected. A very good exciting movie. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 05/20/23 Full Review Summer S A great movie. I would have given it 4 stars if it had not been so outrageously misjudged. The purpose of movies is primarily to be interesting enough to spark the interest in the subject, to tell a story in a way that is memorable. Those memorable moments are there for the keen eye, even in an arid red desert. It is not always supposed to be an overintellectualised masterpiece... For me and a few others it worked, precisely because the thin athmosphere does not support the mainstream audience. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/06/23 Full Review Steve D Not remotely exciting enough. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member It's objectively not a great movie but I still like it and I can't even really explain why. One of my biggest guilty pleasures. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Weird Mars movie that makes zero sense Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Robert Cashill Newsweek Zero gravity. Rated: 1.5/4 Jun 18, 2008 Full Review Steven D. Greydanus Decent Films The film’s dearth of imagination is nowhere more evident than in the flat, tepid dialogue. Rated: C- May 8, 2002 Full Review Globe and Mail Rated: 1.5/4 Mar 22, 2002 Full Review Nick Rogers Midwest Film Journal Establishes an amusingly nasty pecking order once it reaches the surface and even morphs into "Predator" for a hot minute. But it generally bears the anonymous aesthetics of an assembly-line product and is the uglier of 2000's dueling Mars films. Rated: 2/5 Nov 30, 2020 Full Review Kathi Maio The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction There are plenty of elements to the story, and it even manages to throw in a shipboard romance before the credits roll. But more plot frippery does make for a more hospitable Red Planet. Mar 11, 2020 Full Review Walter Chaw Film Freak Central Better than you remember.
