Rex Reed Observer Ordinarily, I wouldn’t bother with a waste of time like Red Right Hand, but this is the stuff they’re making now. If you wait for something worthwhile, you might end up writing about only two or three movies a year. Rated: 1/4 Feb 23, 2024 Full Review Marya E. Gates RogerEbert.com MacDowell also reaches these rarified heights, giving her best performances in years. Rated: 2.5/4 Feb 23, 2024 Full Review Bill Goodykoontz Arizona Republic Mostly it’s just a dopey mob movie with Southern accents of varying quality — predictable and cliched. Rated: 2.5/5 Feb 21, 2024 Full Review Toni Vall Cinemanía (Spain) An orgy of violence and blood. It lacks a script but its savagery redeems it. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 3/5 Aug 2, 2024 Full Review Andy Punter InSession Film The biggest complaint I have for Red Right Hand is that it feels like it was only a scene or two away from being more than a down the line genre movie. Rated: C- Jul 8, 2024 Full Review John Serba Decider You’ve seen versions of this many times before, and done a sight better than this. But Orlando Bloom and Garret Dillahunt have their moments, and Andie MacDowell basically steals the film as the outrageously evil Big Cat. Jul 5, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member I used to trust the audience rating over the critics but this movie changed that for me. Now I know it's better to weigh the quality of the reviews over the scores. Right off the bat, you get that hollow gut feeling about this movie when you hear the corny piano music playing over the fake southern drawl. And it just keeps getting worse from there. Orlando Bloom and Andie McDowell sink low in their cliche characters while everyone else fall even lower. Much lower. This is a thinly written, badly directed, poorly shot and hastily edited gory revenge tale of a farm family brutalized by the big bad drug queen. And while we're at it, why not throw in some down to earth "churchin" too for good measure? Give me a break. It's another Hollywood claim that it understands the plight of the heartland and the struggle of the dumb hayseeds as they try to make it in a corrupt world. You can just picture the gluten free vegan lunch breaks and the slick chit chats between the unconvincing gun fights. Spare yourself two hours of your humanity and watch a blade of grass grow instead. You'll be more fulfilled. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/17/24 Full Review Jeffrey P The plot feels like a familiar one, except for a couple minor tweaks. That makes it more important for things to standout and separate it from the pack. The tweaks didn’t really do that. Female crime bosses, in general, are a plot device that does not work for me. I don’t usually use this word, because it seems like a copout, but this was just... boring, for the first hour. The graphic violence does escalate in the second half and saves this from going straight to the rubbish. If one can make it through the first half, it might be worth a watch. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 08/26/24 Full Review Geke g Very excited while watching Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/18/24 Full Review Munkhchimeg T The fights are not ordinary than others. Quite intense and professional. Good movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/18/24 Full Review Bahad j It was a really good movie. Very instructive. I really liked it. I will watch it again later. Also, I really like the small details of the movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/18/24 Full Review Jeremy A The acting isnt bad. Its a good movie to watch once. Ended a little abruptly. 3.5 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/01/24 Full Review Read all reviews
