Audience Member Lousy movie !! The worst war movie I've ever seen !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member I have never seen any moviemakers on such a small budget tackle both the eastern front and D-day, This film should be remade on a studio budget it is pretty awesome in its scope. The negative reviews really need to take this in to account, They did something nobody have ever before done. And the film is full of historic notes worth seeing for the details and number of guns and real tanks. A few points should probably have been done different but I get it and I got it. the lead Tino Struckmann did a great acting job holding it together, the lead lady can act but seem a little to modern for this film, some great supporting roles I hope Hollywood take note of the talent here. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member This was just a good film, I will say the filming and possibly editing could have been a little better, but I understand that you make a movie with the budget you have available. and for the 80k they had this is amazing. I have never seen even a studio film with this many real tanks and toys, they did an amazing job getting this film together on that budget. There was also some great actors in this film Tino Struckmann and Jack Dimich should absolutely go bigger in their career. The story line was solid, and I really enjoyed the little wedding scene as well as the historic details seen from the German side, not often mentioned, thus it could be an important teaching tool. well done so stop knocking this film they did better then anybody else with that money. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member I have to say I do not feel the rough critique of this film justified. Sure it is an Indie film and not of a million dollar budget. but they put a lot of effort into it, a lot of historic facts and nice war scenes, The tanks and guns were real not a lot of fake CGI and they made a serious effort here. Seriously give them some credit for all the tanks planes and guns they put together. I truly enjoyed it and watched it several times, there are some really good points to it, and the acting was solid on all parts. And as film fans we should acknowledge those of smaller budgets not just run them over because they did not have a studio budget. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member This was a really good independent movie, I really enjoyed it. there were some things that could have been better or bigger and at times the editing and camera could have been better. However overall it was a really good story and the lead Tino Struckmann did a great job leading the film. He have a lot of talent and will do well when Hollywood discovers him and he gets his chance in big budget films. A lot of tanks and WW2 toys in this film ,more the never Saving private Ryan, I was impressed at a small budget film could do so much on a small budget. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Made with care and has the look of re-enactment. Budget war movie with its heart in the right place.
