I found this a very realistic spy thriller. While some may the sexual exploits a bit much, I think that this is how many spies get information. The torture and lack of trust were believable, as well.

I almost appreciate the movie's willingness to be consistently nihilistic, however once the plot moves past the truly weird training sequences it becomes more predictable and a little dull.

You should watch this movie. I am shocked by the negative criticism. I found this extremely well put together, thoughtful, and entertaining. I think ALL the actors did a wonderful job portraying complex characters. It is a thinking persons movie for certain, so perhaps those looking for a cheap, thrill-strong spy film would be disappointed…..but for me…..this film truly captures the emotions and complexity of espionage.

The whore camp was unecessary. Schmaltzy overkill that made the film too long. Also, tying the whole thing together with one scene is B movie quality. Jennifer Lawrence was great, but should have put her foot down over some screenplay and directing mistakes.
