“Reggie” is a portrait of a firebrand who in old age has become a figure of serene, ice-cold clarity. Go to Full Review

All of these topics are thoughtfully explored and given a strong emotional undercurrent by Jackson’s own passion. There are times, though, when Stapleton’s disjointed structure is distracting. Go to Full Review

Reggie does touch on the racism Jackson faced entering the major leagues in the late ‘60s. His tale, however, has a far happier ending than Becker’s. Go to Full Review

09/29/2023 Great movie with a great message!!! See more Joseph S 04/24/2023 For most people that have not lived during the time of Reggie's career, this "documentary" will be very informative. Even though Reggie had full control on the making of this film, he comes off as arrogant, angry and bitter, however rightfully so because of the society that he grew up in, while demanding respect and dignity. See more Katherine K 04/03/2023 wonderful representation of the baseball legend. this is a timeless documentary that touches so many topics. See more Neville B 04/02/2023 I was blown away by the documentary! It was an amazing story about one of baseball's mega stars!!! It's a must watch. See more Michael W @mawilps 04/02/2023 This sports documentary was really good. The entire crew did a fantastic job on bringing Reggie Jackson's story to life and in his own words. Mr. Jackson really talks about all of the struggles he faced as a player and as a person, which was inspirational and outrageous. He just wanted to play ball the way he wanted and live the way he wanted to live and the public treated him like he was a disgrace most of the time. He deserved better and he proved that himself and the people and he won their hearts. That's incredible. If you haven't seen this documentary yet, check it out sometime. It's a definite must see. See more Marc Z @TKDLife 04/01/2023 A cool documentary of the professional life and career of Reggie Jackson through his words and eyes. This is an interesting look at the evolution of Jackson's career in respect to role and life of blacks in baseball and the civil rights moment in the United States. Jackson was a controversial player and still a controversial figure, but a colorful one, no doubt. If you were a lover of the Oakland A's of the early 1970's, or the New York Yankees of the 2nd half of that decade, then this is an extra special look at the man. The filmmaking is not great but the subject matter makes it worth watching. Some great historical footage. See more Read all reviews
