06/28/2020 A thoroughly charming movie, in Spanish with English subtitles, about a woman who is deeply in love with her husband, while he completely ignores her in favor of his high-powered career. She visits a hypnotist as a lark with her girlfriends, but when she “comes around” she’s still in her hypnotic world, as a 15th century Basque princess. She doesn’t recognize her husband, and believes him to be the devil. He has to find a way to communicate with her and then to win her love. Some very comedic moments, and a plot twist that makes it well worth watching to the end—and even through the credits! I found it streaming on Roku even though Flixter says it’s not available anywhere. Watch it again and again—there’s always something you missed the first time. See more Read all reviews
