This quirky comedy from Iceland follows the hapless young Axel (Björn Jörundur Friðbjörnsson) as he tries to track down the missing remote control to his mother's television. Axel's search initially points to his rebellious sister (Margret Gustavsdottir), which leads him to discover that the remote control has accidentally been destroyed. Determined to find a replacement, Axel encounters an increasingly strange procession of characters, including a shifty smuggler named Moli (Helgi Björnsson).
