Leslie Felperin Guardian Unfortunately, the dialogue sounds as if it was written by one of those newfangled AI chatbots, or maybe an actual human being who aspires to write as well as an AI chatbot but is not there yet. Nettie M OMG!!! Where do I start??? Given the caliber of the actors, I was expecting a much better film than I watched. I am sure they all wish that the film was better than the embarrassing 90mins of dross that was actually released as “Renegades”. I am sure that the initial idea was better than it turned out, more like a parody than the actual action/suspense people are lead to believe in the synopsis of the film prior to watching. Not sure what the worst bit was but, with wooden acting, poor script, terrible fight scenes and every single female in the film looking like they are having an anaphylactic reaction to something and have lost the use of their faces, this is an appalling film and the producer should learn from his mistakes by not producing another film and, if he can’t manage that, not cast his wife in anything ever again as she has to be the worst police person I have ever seen portrayed on tv!! Don’t waste your time unless you want a really good laugh!!! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/25 Full Review Axel B A b-movie which is suposed to be cheap b-movie. Badly dubbed. But it is pretty enjoyable and funny. Reminds me of Grindhouse films. All frames very grainy and cool. Funny and cool film. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/10/25 Full Review Bonzo D I've given it 2.5 stars, but only cos it's so bad, and when i gave one star it suggested I don't recommend it. I do recommend it, but only because it has to be one of the worst movies I've ever seen. The script, the acting, the storyline. Where do I start? Since when do London 'cops' routinely carry guns 🤣. It's just so stupid i don't know where to begin. Let's go and keep a street under surveillance to see whats's going on. Nobody will notice us in a Bentley. 😳 . And when these ancient ex soldiers decide to to wage war on biggest , toughest gang in London and get together with their weaponry in a pub to see what they're got? Of course every retired ex serviceman has a claymore mine and a few genades, a crossbow etc. The opening of scenes where the old Major confronts and threatens a gang boss sets the scene and shows just how ridiculous and stupid the film is. I'd seen it before but watched again cos it's so bad. One last thing, the two women police officers they cast. One had a face like a cartoon character with rubber lips, and the senior officer looked at she'd have been better cast as an gal in a care home. Watch it if you want to good laugh. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/28/24 Full Review beverley w The plot if like all the old hashed up stuff but still entertaining. Great to sit guessing who the old actors are and what they were in. Sorry for the woman they look like they were rescued from the muppet show Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/22/24 Full Review Audience Member Whoever says the acting in this film is good must be deaf. "The. Acting. Is. Like. This. The. Whole. Film." There are probably two actors who know what they're doing, the rest are awful. And the dialogue being compared to an AI bot is pretty apt. Though I think comparing it to something a child would write is more accurate. The CGI looks like something out of 2003, so bad it's actually hilarious. Though the most annoying part of the film is the fact the "theme song" repeats throughout the film. "Renegades! Renegades! Renegades!" It does get irritating. Especially when it's played over moments that should feel tense. It kinda ruins the tension. Whoever thinks this is a good film, just, why?!? Honestly why?!? Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/05/24 Full Review Clem W Loved the movie. The older actors were fantsstic and the story line of true war heros and their integrity as friends is what makes true heroes. Our world needs this today. Great plot, actors and action. Want a sequel! Searching ?? Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/28/24 Full Review Read all reviews
