Emilliano Jr S A not so bad nor not so good horror flick. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/29/24 Full Review Jennifer L This isn't a sequel and it has nothing to do with House on the Haunted Hill (original film). They just used that title to get people to watch this film (and to torture them). Do yourself a favor do not watch this film. Such a shame, a sequel had such potential. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/14/23 Full Review Canned S Shallow personnality in characters and predictable archetypes and plot made this horrible to watch. At 10minutes I exactly knew that poor scripting was gonna lead me, a classic american style adventure thriller. The moment they go in the engine room in the attic and open fire to the gear mechanism to "break it" at point blank range just confirmed this as I litterally held my head in my hands out of shame for the guy that wrote this... I couldn't bear to finish it passed 30mins. I adored the 1999 version for what it was and the means they had at the time (and honeslty, how far they went in style exploration in recreating some of the first William Castle's SFX!), and I also enjoyed the original of 1964 which in my opinion was still better entertainment than that 2007 crap. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review steve d A cheap cash grab with no scares and poor acting. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review robert p Totally one-half of a tomato, I agree with everyone else this movie has plot holes you can drive a truck through, or good to replace a clonazepham.
