When widow Sarah Hargrave washes ashore on a tropical island with her daughter and adopted son, she learns how to survive and raise the two children on her own. After her death, the kids -- Lilli and Richard -- are forced to continue their uncivilized lives without any parental guidance, and, as they enter young adulthood, they begin to fall in love. Their Eden-like existence is threatened, however, when outsiders arrive on the island.

The travelogue-style photography is soothing, the bodies are pretty and the music isn't offensive, but feature-length movies can't survive on the ingredients for a standard airline commercial.

I love this film. Its well made, beautiful scenery, I do like the attention to detail that this film displayed. Especially in the sets, props and costumes, in keeping with the idea that the characters utilize the natural world around them to survive. The acting is well done. This isnt a film I would think too deeply on, but for me its a sweet little film filled with some solid entertainment. Parts of the storyline tugs at the heart strings a bit.

Not as bad of a movie as rotten tomatoes is making it out to be. Coming of age movie that shows that what we always seem to want is not all it's cracked up to be. Milla and Brian were decent in this and the story line is cute and has good values to what is now just a I want what I cant have world we live in now.

Filme mais ou menos, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são mais ou menos, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom
