Audience Member More of the first, but even more childish and slow. Nothing is different, the plot is less interesting, and the characters somehow become worst. It is much better! It's actually unintentionally funny in places. Characters have fairly interesting arcs. But then the films feels too long again and I got bored. Tacky, low budget, uninspired, but it's better than the first so watch this instead if you HAVE to watch either one. The plot is so-so, but the dinosaurs & the actual 'Lost World' are pretty decent (for a film from the early '90s). My fave quote was from Summerlee's character, posing a mocking question to Challenger - asking if one would shoot his own head just to test if it is impervious to bullets.
