I hated the first one and wasn't going to bother with this... But my vow to watch sequels kicked in. And... It is much better! It's actually unintentionally funny in places. Characters have fairly interesting arcs. But then the films feels too long again and I got bored. Tacky, low budget, uninspired, but it's better than the first so watch this instead if you HAVE to watch either one.

well i haven't watched the 1st so can't rate this one based on that. was an ok movie... the robotic big dinosaurs are a bit silly, but the baby one is kinda cute. :P

Having not seen The Lost World, certain inferences & scenes in this sequel kinda threw me off. The plot is so-so, but the dinosaurs & the actual 'Lost World' are pretty decent (for a film from the early '90s). My fave quote was from Summerlee's character, posing a mocking question to Challenger - asking if one would shoot his own head just to test if it is impervious to bullets. That somehow struck me as hilarious! Lol.
