Glafira Regina O Inconsistent age appropriateness: The mix of elements that are suitable for children with mature themes makes it hard to know who the target audience is. It’s a strange combination that doesn't work well. Low quality of visuals: Even for its time, the image quality felt lacking, which made it harder to engage with the story. Outdated special effects: Just like the first film, the use of dolls or poor CGI for the dinosaurs was distracting, taking away from the overall experience. Once again, John Rhys-Davies' performance stands out, but it's not enough to redeem the movie. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 12/15/24 Full Review Audience Member More of the first, but even more childish and slow. Nothing is different, the plot is less interesting, and the characters somehow become worst. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member I hated the first one and wasn't going to bother with this... But my vow to watch sequels kicked in. And... It is much better! It's actually unintentionally funny in places. Characters have fairly interesting arcs. But then the films feels too long again and I got bored. Tacky, low budget, uninspired, but it's better than the first so watch this instead if you HAVE to watch either one. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member well i haven't watched the 1st so can't rate this one based on that. was an ok movie... the robotic big dinosaurs are a bit silly, but the baby one is kinda cute. :P Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Having not seen The Lost World, certain inferences & scenes in this sequel kinda threw me off. The plot is so-so, but the dinosaurs & the actual 'Lost World' are pretty decent (for a film from the early '90s). My fave quote was from Summerlee's character, posing a mocking question to Challenger - asking if one would shoot his own head just to test if it is impervious to bullets. That somehow struck me as hilarious! Lol. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member I hated the first one and wasn't going to bother with this...
