An apocalypse soaked in moody neons and feminist anger. Go to Full Review

The dully earnest sharing of confidences and self-doubts towards unlikely sisterhood, as well as the claustrophobic setting, make Revealer play out like a not-very-good stage script. Go to Full Review

Revealer is a fun, '80s apocalyptic horror film that maximizes it low budget and filming restrictions with two incredible lead characters. Go to Full Review

Revealer aims for a seedy, late-night Cinemax vibe and successfully tells a story about the horrors of oppressing individual expression, but never meets the fullest potential of its premise. Go to Full Review

mailernorman88! m 01/18/2024 Scary, smart popcorn horror flick! Low budget, but solid script and cool direction. See more Cristian s 10/23/2023 Pésima, sencillamente un asco de película. Empieza mas o menos pero se transforma en 2 minas caminando por un túnel durante una hora. See more John Exury S @JediDad23 07/23/2023 Pretty standard fare. See more brad p 02/21/2023 Apocalyptic retro horror ‘Revealer' uses its stellar cast and limited setting to create a fun and nasty horror comedy with a lot of heart. See more 12/31/2022 Overall, it's evident this film has a small budget; however, what has been achieved is something extremely fun and impressive.  A tale of two opposites working together to survive the end of the world is a positive idea.  The themes and tones are alive thanks to the great retro vibes of the '80s.  The biggest downer is, sadly, the pacing.  In the film's first half, I was invested and on board, but the second act slowed down dramatically before ending with a brilliant conclusion.  Twists and turns are obvious and predictable, but this is more personal.  Still, there is a good time to be had, and this film delivers a solid concept as a horror film. Both the sinner (the stripper) and the saint (the purist evangelist) will need to work together to face the demons of the apocalypse. See more Read all reviews
