Tim Brayton Antagony & Ecstasy The story is crude and inexplicable, the acting stagey, the tone completely gaudy and not even a tiny bit horrifying. andy f The concept of this film is terrifying and it has a little more meat on the bones than other films of this era. It's a twisted romance in a great setting and the horror is more implied than visual. As a very loose sequel to White Zombie it is just about worth the effort. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Great idea for a story, but everything about this is done badly. The acting, the editing, sigh... Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Slow and occasionally racist. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Plod Plod Plod--Zombie melodrama!! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member I love cheesy B-movies of all kinds, I love black and white films, and I love horror films...but Revolt Of The Zombies sucked ass. Despite being only a little over an hour long, this film is very, very boring and is also very sloppy in its execution. The storyline is very poorly told and rarely makes sense due to extremely poor editing, the acting is wooden, the characters barely qualify as being one dimensional, there is no actual suspense or horror, and it wastes its potentially interesting premise. It also meanders aimlessly, and it also feebly tries to throw in some half-assed romance scenes. This film is just awful and not nearly bad enough to be fun. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Very slow and boring. There's not much to this 'Zombie Revolt' and the characters are uninteresting. It has some decent sets but overall it's a miss. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
