Audience Member I declare the more I watch all the Audie Murphy’s movies the better I like him this one was really good. Yes I will recommend it James Welch, Henderson, Arkansas October 7, 2023. Rated 3.5/5 Stars •  Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Excellent little western. A young Audie Murphy had his father and brother killed and comes back to settle the score. It's lifted up from a normal "B" movie by Murphy, and especially Dan Duryea who plays sort of the same laughing bad guy he was in Winchester 73 but isn't quite the sociopath here. Jack Elam has a nice part. The basic story arc is that the sheriff is a crook and pretends to help Audie by sending him out on what are supposed to be suicide missions but Audie continually comes through. In the process earns the respect of Dan Duryea who likes all the excitement Audie is stirring up. If you like 1950s westerns definitely put this one on your list!
