Bruce Springsteen’s director of choice, Thom Zimny, does a capable job on this tour documentary, which charts rock & roll’s abiding spirit returning to stadiums with his backing band after a six-year absence. Go to Full Review
Angie Han The Hollywood Reporter 10/30/2024
Maybe Road Diary feels less up close and personal than the title would imply, or than some ravenous fans might hope. But in its joyous celebration of the band’s spirit, it nevertheless captures something of what makes them them. Go to Full Review

Documentaries about performing artists are only as interesting as the artists being documented. In the case of “Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band,” one needn’t fret. The Boss is entirely captivating. Go to Full Review

Jim F Nov 14 This movie was a complete bore. If you want a depressing movie about an interesting character, this is for you. Very little insight into the musician. Very hard to sit through. See more Margie R Oct 24 This film to me just misses the heart & soul that that Springsteen brings to the table. His music at the time was the sound of blue collar America, the film to me does not give that amazing feeling, it skins over it all with no feeling or depth, shame as it therefore becomes another too long rock biopic without much pace. Should have retired a long time ago See more Jan 10 Never liked him and still don't See more Tom F 11/30/2024 I enjoyed most of this, but Boss hagiography isn’t what I was hoping for.
