Born with Pulmonary Atresia, 29-year-old Amy has always lived a cautious life. She's never left her hometown, is engaged to her high school sweetheart, Jacob, and regularly visits her devoted single father, an avid cyclist and owner of the local bike shop. After troubling results on her annual cardiac stress test, Amy reaches a turning point. Drawn back to her father's bike shop, Amy turns to Lucas, the shop manager, to help train her for L'Étape du Tour, a stage of the Tour de France. As she pushes her body to its limits, Amy is forced to question what she truly wants from life and whether she can give Jacob the future he imagines.
