Stefan Birgir Stefans sbs.is A bunch of young adults go on a road trip in the Irish countryside and accidently kill an old gypsy fortune teller with eye cancer. The fortune teller puts a curse on them that the roc will get them and soon enough, they smell what the roc is cooking. Audience Member It's more polished than what I've seen from SyFy's Maneater series but it's still a barebones b-horror with awful special effects and an over serious tone. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Four annoying idiots and three perky-breasted young lovelies go on a road trip only to find their Oscar-worthy performances violently interrupted by a giant, astoundingly poor CGI bird and a bunch of murderous Irish gypsies. Fans of wasting valuable time or not enjoying yourself should check this out immediately! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member It's probably the only (arguably) creepy Syfy flick. Cheesy, but very enjoyable. A pleasant surprise. 44/100 Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member The beast in Roadkill is supposed to be a Roc. The Roc from Greek mythology, or even Dungeons and Dragons, was large enough to destroy a huge boat. The Roc in Roadkill is a little bigger than the RV that it terrorizes. It also looks like a skinless condor. Couple that with the fact that the animation is almost as good as Ray Harryhausenâ??s workâ?¦in the early 1960â??sâ?¦and you have a barely workable story that then sucker punches you in the face with laughable special effects. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Usual bad CGI and typical plot, only less so. It's pretty much a long chase scene with minor drama and uninteresting titbits. It gets fairly dull and the creature isn't around much, not to mention a long drawn out ending that goes no where. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member This was kinda like Wrong Turn with pterodactyls. For a Syfy original, it wasn't all that bad. It wasn't great either, but there's a touch of suspense here and there, a few bouncing boobies, and we even have a couple half eaten faces. Three cheers for half eaten faces!
