Choreography was awful. Basically the children were spearing the air with their rigid hands and almost goose stepping through gosh awful routines. Sound was blasting which obliterated most of the dialogue. 1996 film version was much more balanced and true to the spirit of Raold Dahl's original story.

It was slightly longer than I anticipated but SO worth it. Kept my child and I captivated waiting for what was next. We loved the songs so much we left singing, “When I Grow Up”.
