Daniel G A bit corny, honestly story could’ve built soo much more. Could have expounded on the story to show a deeper meaning or backstory between the poor and the rich and taxes and poverty and treachery of those times. The suffering. Instead it’s a bleak take on the story of one man’s robbing and an overly simplistic plot an attack on the Catholic Church as the bad guy and almost a. Jab on Christianity itself. Main actor does decent but not a strong character more like a spider man character vibe of goofy and silly. Wish it built the story more to show a greater story. Whole bunch of angst and teeth gritting dialogue with zero deepening story line. Ppl angry and mad but with hardly any story to give context or passion to the revolution and overthrowing the power. I seriously recommend not watching this movie. As far as the Robin Hood tales go, just have the kids watch the Bugs Bunny cartoon version on Youtube and be done with it. They'll thank you if they ever see this film. You're welcome. Edit: The movie wasn't even over when I wrote the first part. The last 15 minutes embarrassed me and I only watched it. With tongue very much NOT in cheek, we proceed with a story that not only makes no sense, but one which is entirely ungrounded. We do ourselves and society a disservice by even watching it.
