While less cliche and more recent & first-hand than the VH1 variety, this feels more creepy and unnecessary for the effort. The performance and rehearsal scenes are of interest, however, as well as the sort of self-analysis and response to blind criticism on screen. This will be his last try before he?ll have to get a day job. The Melbourne International Comedy Festival, then Edinburgh, the most competitive comedy festival in the world. Good documentary, I enjoyed it a lot. Loved the Minchins!!!!!
