TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Dec 6 Rock Paper Scissors (2018) promised an intriguing concept but ultimately fails to deliver a compelling story. The film feels lackluster from start to finish, never fully engaging the viewer. The screenplay struggles with consistency, often drifting into aimless banter rather than developing a coherent narrative. Opportunities for tension, suspense, or character growth are missed, leaving the story flat and uneven. The direction does little to elevate the material, and pacing issues make it difficult to stay invested. Casting choices are uneven as well, with some performers appearing disengaged, contributing to the overall sense of detachment. While the film isn’t terrible, it doesn’t offer enough merit to make it memorable or worth rewatching. In the end, Rock Paper Scissors is a middling thriller that squanders its potential and fails to leave a lasting impact. See more Mick Y 05/11/2024 This is not a good movie. The acting is more suitable to a Sunday afternoon murder mystery. The plot, well, what can I say? Nothing explains the reason for the initial invasion of the couples home, and their attempts at retribution are so easily achieved that there is no suspense. What a waste of investors money.
