Jason Bailey Flavorwire [A] singularly distasteful piece of work. May 4, 2017 Full Review Jordan Mintzer Hollywood Reporter Canet deserves credit for going to such extremes - even if his conceit runs a bit long - and for taking the satire to the point of no return, rather than offering up the kind of easy reconciliation seen in most movies about the movie business. Feb 16, 2017 Full Review Erica Peplin Vague Visages Canet’s performance seems to come from a place of real insecurity, and the resulting film plays out like an externalized catharsis. Dec 5, 2023 Full Review Peter Sobczynski eFilmCritic.com The problem is that all the stuff involving Canet and his fumblings is pretty awful and just grows increasingly intolerable as the film goes on. Mar 7, 2019 Full Review Javier Ocaña El Pais (Spain) The only problem Rock'n Roll has is that, after the first hour or so, which brilliantly exposes its objective and representation, the movie seems to rush to the end... [Full Review in Spanish] Apr 10, 2018 Full Review Francisco Marinero El Mundo (Spain) The viewer feels embarrassed by the lack of modesty. Audience Member If you follow the careers of both Monsieur Canet and Madame Cotillard you will appreciate this satirical self-send up even though it gets a bit much to get to the conclusion Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Sàtira sobre la fama y de reirse sobre uno mismo. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member hilarious, but kinda sad how American beauty standards became ridiculous and grotesquely Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member A very funny parody of this couple's real life, a hilarious comedy. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review camille l Avec son dernier film, Guillaume Canet a peut-être réussi l'impensable : rendre Guillaume Canet cool. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
