While the film most likely would have benefited from a larger budget and different casting, Angela Bettis' direction mostly works, especially considering the ultra low-level nature of the film. Some acting and pacing issues will put off a large chunk of viewers, but for those that can look past such things there is an interesting movie to be seen. I mean, maybe we're all a bit more familiar/accustomed to strange guys getting creepily attached to women who want nothing to do with them, but this just felt kinda boring and by the numbers. Rental? Main character: Love-Struck; Obsessive-Compulsive; Schizophrenic, Rapist, with Asperger's Syndrome, and a hint of Necrophelia!! How can you go wrong with this? Believe it or not............This film was very well done. The character interaction was genuine. This movie is well worth watching multiple times. The beginning of it looked like it could hold promise, but after one "scene", the rest is anticlimactic - you wait forever for it to "get good", and it never does. The ending would also have had a lot more impact if there was more substance involved between the beginning and end, but no.
