Sean L. McCarthy Decider Wood is a consummate pro as a stand-up, not afraid of any audience. He even sticks the landing with not only one killer callback, but also an actual call back. Jan 26, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

Will _ Roy Wood Jr. does it again. I was browsing through Disney+ (EUR) on my laptop, looking for something to watch before bed and was delighted to find this standup. It was perfect. Roy pulls you in with insightful thoughts, heartwarming family stories and some unusual anecdotes that all adds up to lots of laughs. The best part of it all (and I am by no means against profane edgy content) is that there is little-to-no foul language. I put the earphones on, dimmed the screen and laid down, just listening and laughing, like the old days with standup comedy audio tapes. You can turn this on in the background during your house cleaning, drawing or something to that effect and you won't be sorry. Another winner from a comedian that highly respect and enjoy. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/25 Full Review Yash B Roy Wood Jr. is really one of the most thoughtful comedians. His stand-up balances life observations, social commentary, and really funny jokes so well. I think "Lonely Flowers" is a good new special from him and is already quite better than a lot of the stand-up comedy I watched last year. The show maybe doesn't quite hit the laugh-out-loud hilarious level of some of his other bits I have seen, but I still think this is a fully engaging comedy show and I really liked a lot of the points he addressed here. Overall, it is a must-watch for his fans and I think is also a solid choice if you're new to his comedy. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/22/25 Full Review Poodle M Felt like a childhood friend telling me the truth in comedic story form. A ton of heart, could not stop laughter at points and delightful ending. (Even the credits had me laughing.) Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/19/25 Full Review Fred N I love Roy Wood Jr, and this is a great special. Good intro if you somehow haven't seen him elsewhere. He tells good stories and makes interesting observations. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/18/25 Full Review Read all reviews
