Wow, another reason not a have an affair, especially with a white man. On a more serious note, this was a very good movie with sexual tension so real you could feel it.

Solid drama, helped immesurably by Angela Bassett's presence. Nice period detail, really great music. Good writing, the costumes and sets are well thought out. A fine film.
