Audience Member Rudy Blue could be the "sleeper" of the Decade. Well acted, insightful, and believable - Although starting out low key (it could not have been otherwise) , The Drama builds as the theme unfolds. Also, the photography is quite well done in framing the story and in leading us, Through flashbacks and other devices to weave the story to it's unexpected ending. For those who also have an interest in music, esp Piano, and/or Opera, this movie could provide some insightful observations into the rigorous demands put on those who aspire to hone, and then perform, at the maximum of their abilities. To correct the synopsis - The Father is Dead - and has been dead for eight years. As the drama builds )) Mother has aspects of being deranged. "You have to love me. I am your Mother. You have no choice"'. At a point, as the Drama and tension builds - I became quite sure that one or more of those in tightly entwined family, or someone drawn into their circle, would die, either at the hand of "Mother", or another, or just by fate Itself.
