Audience Member The Hand is a poignant and powerful story about the artistic restrictions and interference with an artist's work. Rated 5/5 Stars •  Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member A great anti-Soviet film disguised as a cute animated film. It's about a sculptor visited by a huge hand (the Czech Soviet state), which directs the sculptor to sculpt only hands. The symbolism is quite obvious, but took the Czech Soviet government four years to realize it and ban the film.
