Audience Member Excellent acting. A little slow paced but the cinematography and acting make up for it. The writing wasn't that good. I loved the small children the most. Katie Boland was very engaging. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Kind of like a train wreck, I can't stop myself from watching it though. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Cast: Katie Boland, Megan Park, Kevin Zegers, Stuart Wilson, Alberta Watson, Geraint Wyn Davies, Maria Ricossa, Nadia Litz, Jack Knight, Yannick Bisson Director: Gail Harvey Summary: After her family moves to a conservative town, teenager Tamara finds friendship with Brenda and starts dating Rusty. But when her mother contracts tuberculosis and is sent away, Tamara becomes responsible for keeping her family together. My Thoughts: "A bad script added with bad acting made this film a hard one to finish, but I did. Katie Boland had her moments in this film where she was believable, but most of the time she was quite awful as was Megan Park. I thought the parents, Alberta Watson and Stuart Wilson where good. Kevin Zegers did well with what he was given. It just wasn't a great script for any of these actor's. The movie was a bit about religion. Christians trying to turn the non-believers into believers. There was also plenty of scenes that I thought just shouldn't have been included into the film and seemed pointless. The skinny dipping scene was not only unfitting to what was going on in the movie but felt completely inappropriate since there are young children stripping down to nothing and being shown nude. It was uncomfortable. It was a scene pointless and unnecessary. The film was by far something I would never watch again nor would I recommend anyone seeing."
