Liam Neeson is in typically fine form, but Run All Night suffers from a convoluted plot and workmanlike execution.

acsdoug D A few cliches aside, I liked this one a lot. Sure, the violence is over the top - it's a Liam Neeson movie, what did you expect? It's also fast paced with good dialogue. The cast is terrific, particularly Neeson and Ed Harris. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/17/24 Full Review Bryan S Excellent movie. I thought it was better than the 'Taken' movies which I also like. The characters in 'Run All Night' are more real and rounded than the typical action movie. They make you care about them. Yes, the action is excellent, but lots of movies have good action. This one gets the 'heart' right. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/18/24 Full Review Nooway N Can't go wrong with that cast. A mob/crimestory that's destined to not end well. Can never be bad! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/02/24 Full Review Alec B The movie is just too convoluted and long to be as entertaining as it should be, which is a shame as there are some good action set-pieces. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 12/13/23 Full Review B+ predictable, but still a good thriller. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/15/23 Full Review Campolongo C Just asking for a friend: Is Common the worst actor of all time? All he can do is holding a gun. In every movie he's playing. Answer: Yes, Common is the worst actor of all time. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 10/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Rated: B+ Apr 17, 2015 Full Review Jake Wilson Sydney Morning Herald If you appreciate this kind of guff, then Run All Night, despite its slow spots, is a fairly good yarn. Rated: 3/5 Mar 19, 2015 Full Review William Goss Austin Chronicle ...often calls to mind the stripped-down machismo of Walter Hill's earlier films, full of growling men and growing menace. Mar 17, 2015 Full Review Keith Garlington Keith & the Movies “Run All Night” is a fun crime thriller that jets along at a nice pace and keeps you entertained. Rated: 3.5/5 Aug 25, 2022 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review The viewer anticipates every angle before it comes, making Run All Night seem tedious and overlong. Indeed, we’re just waiting for the things we know will happen to actually happen. Rated: 1.5/4 Jun 21, 2022 Full Review Cory Woodroof Williamson Home Page Run All Night is an emotionally-rewarding, tense-as-can-be crime thriller that can be counted as an early 2015 treat.
