Kristen Lopez indieWire There is a tendency to overly explain things as opposed to letting Ginsburg's words flow, but if you've enjoyed the previous looks at the notorious RBG, this is a new one offers a different angle to her remarkable story. Rated: C+ Mar 6, 2021 Full Review Nell Minow Huffington Post It is not so much the words that matter here as Justice Ginsburg's intellect, her "consuming love" for the law, her character, her kindness, her empathy, and her purpose. Rated: B+ Feb 22, 2021 Full Review Brian Lowry CNN.com Writer-director Freida Lee Mock doesn't really break new ground -- as noted, it's been pretty well plowed -- but that doesn't prevent the tributes from feeling warm and heartfelt, especially coming after Ginsburg's death. Feb 17, 2021 Full Review Tara McNamara Common Sense Media The gushiness of the film's approach may be shared by most RBG fans, but it isn't conducive to learning about her in a truly objective way. Rated: 3/5 Mar 26, 2021 Full Review Martha K. Baker KDHX (St. Louis) The documentary records slow steps toward justice, always worth measuring. Mar 16, 2021 Full Review Sarah Boslaugh TheArtsStl ...helps to fill in some of what Ginsburg did before being appointed to the Supreme Court, as well as her accomplishments as a member of the Court.
