Harry (Dermot Mulroney) is a high school wrestling coach recovering from the loss of his daughter who was murdered in a brutal attack. When one of his students disappears under conditions eerily similar to his daughter's, Harry takes matters into his own hands to hunt down the men responsible for her kidnapping and will stop at nothing to rescue her from their human trafficking operation.

Mulroney is the key reason to see Ruthless because he plays Harry with grit and a scrappy determination that belies his characters’ polite demeanor.... Ruthless is enjoyable for folks who want a low-rent version of Nobody.

Thought the acting was pretty good. The two actors playing thugs in the beginning, Tom and Sergio were pretty funny in a blundering kinda idiot way. Good story flow. Didn't really know what to expect but it turned out enjoyable and entertaining, and Dermot always brings his A game.

We are in 2026 and people are still believing that watching women and girls being raped and ubducted is entertaining. And the hero man comes in to save the girl, as if men didn't cause the problem in the first place. This is why Promising Young Woman is the standard. It's so overdone and boring.

Half star (couldn’t rank a half star in app, hence the 1 star).. Streaming slop content just for content-sake. Comparable to a made-for-TV Lifetime movie. Truly nothing positive to say about it.

Loved this movie. The guy is not a SUPER HERO, but hero enough! Very entertaining and enjoyable throughout. I do not understand the low ratings. It follows along the line of movies like "taken" and "the equilizer". It should have a sequel. Maybe they didn't have the budget for the fancy shmancy artist and what not but THESE artests did well. It worked well. Iwill watch this again and again.

Ah ha ha! The terrible directing was only surpassed by the poor acting. That was actually pretty funny. It’s like the Hallmark channel started making action movies. Every scene looks like it was done in the first take. "Bam, perfect, got it! Next!"😂

The acting in The Ruthless was weak, but the biggest problem was the directing. The movie felt like a low-budget, cheaply made production, with very few extras, making many scenes seem empty and unrealistic. Overall, it was poorly directed and lacked the production quality needed to make the story engaging. I wouldn’t recommend it.
