Audience Member An interesting debut by a new talent to watch. It's set at the end of the world in the Danube Delta and the cinematography is lovely. The performances and direction are first rate, too. It's a raw, personal film about finding yourself and your place in the world. A beautiful first film. She did not pay the price for her femininity just because she was dressed as a young woman. There were all sorts of events leading up to the ending. You understand why she did the things she did, are saddened by her circumstance, and proud of her will.
