Sumanth S @Sumanth Dec 4 This movie was going to end Vijaykanth's career because in two years after 'Sattam Oru Iruttarai' about ten of his films failed. Instead this movie made history by becoming a hit. Captain & SAC never looked back after this. SAC had to bend to Producer's demands & so the result looks twisted ..SN Surendar's voice actually lends humour & style to Vijaykanth. The action scenes are a mix of horror & violence. The last scene is an indicator of Vijaykanth's future films - such powerful lines where Captain explains why & how he carried out his revenge. That scene reminds us of Ramana where Captain surrenders & talks to the CM. The image of Captain as a powerful cop started with this film.
