Steve Dread Central Sadako 3D is like having beer goggles that possess the miraculous power to make even the silliest of CG deers look absolutely terrifying. Rated: 1/5 Jun 12, 2013 Full Review Craig Skinner HeyUGuys Die-hard fans of the Ring franchise will most likely find something to enjoy... but there is little horror, fun or intelligence to be found in Sadako 3D. Josh A Sadako 3D is an adaptation of "S", the 5th novel in Koji Suzuki's Ring series, a loose sequel to Spiral and a film that I have many thoughts on. To start with, they did a good job of modernising the cursed video, making it feel more realistic as a video of someone killing themselves on video feels like something that would exist and be widespread. Spider Sadako was cool. However, this film also has its flaws. It can be boring and cheesy at times, and definitely feels like a 3D movie with the weird moments that seem like they're only there to look cool in 3D e.g. Sadako's hand coming out of the screen. But for me, the good just about outweighs the bad. Overall, an alright entry in the series but not my favourite. Sadako 3D 2 next! Not actually much left to watch. Only 3 Japanese films left, then the American films, then we're done! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 10/30/24 Full Review MasaHiro X This was just stupid in all the right ways. Honestly I love this film because of how much it strays away from Ring (1998) & Ring 2 (1999). There's really no scary atmosphere here, cheesy campy 3D CGI and goofy scares throughout but I don't care because it was a silly Sadako fun slasher film! This is by far the most entertaining Ring film! Because of how bad this is, I could call this a "so bad it's good" movie. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 08/08/23 Full Review Audience Member The weak movie for me. Though in the second part of this movie there were frightening moments, with monsters. .. Will search something else to watch on my boxxy software Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Though I really hated all those "things" at the end. (I don't know what you would call them? Zombie sadako monster clones?), this was pretty good for what it was. I watched it on dvd, and though it is cheesy, I can see it would have been amazing actually in 3D. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Despite some cool and silly visuals, Sadako 3D is a lazy senseless sequel to a horror classic. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Almost a horror movie. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews
