In the aftermath of a brutal ambush on the vice president's motorcade, six agents from the Secret Service, CIA, Department of Defense, and Homeland Security are ordered to shelter in a high-security safe house. But when communications are cut and the building goes into lockdown, they discover the real terror may be among them: The detonator signal that triggered the citywide attacks was traced to their location. I will never complain about seeing [Lewis] Tan in action and perform fight choreography because he will always impress. It's just unfortunate that everyone else gets short-changed on that action, particularly [Lucien] Laviscount.

Marshall shrewdly keeps us invested by steadily propelling things forward and raising the stakes every step of the way. His steady screw-tightening and bursts of furious action makes "Safe House" an entertaining watch.

This movie was HORRIBLE!!! A total dumpster fire and I could actually smell the shitty plot through the screen. The storyline had more holes in it than my favorite pair of house boxers. I've never been so thankful for the end credits to roll. My wife and I picked this thing apart before all the characters were in the house. I'm more mad at myself for actually sitting through the entire thing than I am the lack of of a good script. Guess I'm a glutton for punishment. Can't recommend AVOIDING this movie enough. This should be on MST3K!!! IYKYK!!!

I just watched this on NowTV, their synopsis bears no correlation to the movie & spoiled the whole thing for me. I found it to be a lack luster, action who-dunnit. There were some good action scenes, but due to it's misrepresentation I couldn't give it a higher rating.

Frustrating when you find out the "master plan" couldn't have possibly worked in the first place if the countless gun battles, explosives and infighting managed to kill the wrong people or the MacGuffin was simply destroyed. What a waste of 90 minutes.
