Salmokji isn't doing anything new with the "trapped in one place" genre of ghost stories. Even so, it's a well-made bit of commercial horror that keeps you on your toes and, most likely, scratching your head.

Salmokji: Whispering Water uses some typical jump scares in this horror movie about a ghost that haunts a reservoir. However, the movie has good acting performances and gripping suspense in this story about a road-view crew trying to solve the mystery.

If you are open minded and you like something that make you think. Check this movie out. It doesnt rely heavily on jump scares. Which made it more interesting to watch.
