Jimi D Very light comedy, eventually dealing with some serious issues: true love, class/economic differences, pursuing one's career. The premise has been used before such as in Groundhog Day from 1993 - one must continually live the same day until he/she gets it right. Relates to a movie like It's a Wonderful Life from 1946 too. Also relates to "man in hole" plot for movies: man meets woman, falls in love, something happens and relationship seems over (in hole), but then Hollywood ending guy gets girl back again. The metaphor of living one day over and over is like a person going through the cycles of marriage-divorce-2nd marriage-divorce-3rd marriage etc. until hopefully they find true love. Some are lucky enough to find true love early on and spend 60+ years with their spouse. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/12/25 Full Review Read all reviews
