Ellen Twadell Common Sense Media So-so sequel to a favorite kids' movie. Rated: 2/5 Jan 1, 2011 Full Review Walter Chaw Film Freak Central A caricaturist would draw stink lines emanating from this direct-to-video stillbirth. Rated: 0.5/4 Jun 14, 2005 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...does feature a brisk pace and several charismatic performances... Rated: 2.5/4 May 29, 2005 Full Review John J. Puccio Movie Metropolis ...if you've already seen The Sandlot, and that would be almost everyone, you may be disappointed that so very little of anything new has been added. Rated: 5/10 May 1, 2005 Full Review Scott Weinberg DVDTalk.com Certainly funny, charming, and sincere enough to earn a solid B+ from the Sandlot-faithful. (And there are lots of us!) Rami A The sequel we didn't need nor want. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/24 Full Review Googlesucks S This movie is bad, I just watched the original sandlot yesterday for the first time and I enjoyed every minute, It made my eyes shed tears when I saw the photo of the friends and the movie ended right away remembering when I had friends. Now I jumped straight to Sandlot 2 expecting a sequel, all I see is a remake, a bad one, looks bad and it sucks, the first sign this movie is bad is when the father of the girl say something silly to the girl and the mom responds him like he is machist. Ffs now I see this bs started all over 2005 Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Adult/Now: 6/10. 60/100. | As a Child: 9/10. 95/100 Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/24/23 Full Review Waffles F I thought Sandlot2 was a Great Summer Movie Classic. A group of Neighborhood kids getting together to play baseball for fun and good times (I never played baseball Every day personally), but this movie brings back a certain degree of nostalgia. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Should stick to the original Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 12/11/22 Full Review mad, jr s A mini masterpiece! I don't know what people who panned this are thinking, do they not get that this is for kids and light-hearted entertainment? The movie is genuinely funny, the characters are likeable, the acting is great, and the story is well written and imaginitive. The first film was also great, and I think they managed to top it with this sequel. We loved it! If you enjoy movies like A Christmas Story and Holes, give this a try. The hokey humor and non-realism (like the Space Shuttle) are intentional, and part of the storytelling. This is how a kid remembers things. A+ !
