Anupama Chopra Hindustan Times From this solid material, director Omung Kumar fashions a film that is structurally clumsy and overtly high-pitched but also strongly enacted and genuinely moving. Rated: 3/5 Jan 9, 2017 Full Review Anil Sinanan Time Out Sarbjit is at times genuinely moving and features a family reunion sequence that will reduce you to tears. Vetticad Firstpost Even if these exclusions were to be excused as cinematic licence, the problem remains that this film fails to flesh out the people at the heart of this true story. lights-camera-action R It's a treat for those who love melodramatic fictional masala cinema. Apart from the cast performances (especially Hodda's & Aishwarya's) rest everything is so dull. Yaa it's an engaging drama..but not worth it. Many Times i wondered that how it was selected as a best picture Oscar contender. May critics said that Aishwarya is not good for this role, she just didn't know the Punjabi accent. But I think that the role is not good for Aishwarya. She improved very much after Jazbaa( so much overacting 🫠). And she was also nominated for FOIOA & Filmfare award - best actress. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Must watch Randeep hooda's acting is phenomenal Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Good and great movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Randeep Hooda's performace deserved best actor in every award show. It was so terrific!!! Now I don't believe in these countless Indian Movie Award Shows when they didn't even nominated him for the award ?? What the heck is going on. They only see stardom while selecting best actor -.- I loved his acting and Aishwariya also was amazing. Richa Chaddha in the supporting role nailed it!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member A heart touching movie about the harsh reality of human being unfair and brutally inhumane. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member I loved this film, the actors performed very well! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Read all reviews
