05/11/2022 It's fairly banal but the performances are in the right spirit. See more 10/13/2020 Deadly Manor is a prime example of why audiences began tiring of slashers in the first place. It seems modern fans are now attracted to the earnest, almost innocent quality of those films produced during their 1978-1984 heyday, so when those classic teen victims in their feathered hair and short shorts gave way to baggier clothes, breast implants, and an emerging digital age awash in political correctness, much of the bloom fell off the rose. And without any creative kills or inventive formulaic twists going for them, movies like Deadly Manor quickly felt like nostalgia tours. See more 03/22/2011 There was a lot of holes in the plot. See more 07/10/2010 When a group of teenagers decide to stop off and spend the night in a old mansion you can almost be sure nothing good is gonna come of it and there is no difference here cause once they settle in the group starts to die off one by one and they come to see there not as alone as they thought.
