Ryan B Accidental review, will return once watched. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/24 Full Review Thomas K a more decent sequel to the previous film. The horror atmosphere didn't improve the situation much, but this time the acting atmosphere improved from my character point of view. The plot is bearable, but above all I really liked the ending, where Hoffman pretended to be a policeman from the beginning of the film with a character hidden in the shadows. The traps didn't excite me, but the fact remains that the new puzzler managed to get away with respecting his normal and police character, until he shows his true cruel character. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/14/24 Full Review Jr B I give this movie a 7.3! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/01/24 Full Review George X It's the best after The Saw lll new story, new characters and a very very gruesome gory bloody content, Saw IV is counting bodies to the right catalogue. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/24 Full Review Mr. B Saw IV isn't as good as the previous entries - but still provides an interesting storyline and good twists at the end. Jordan Crucchiola New York Magazine/Vulture If violence is going to be your calling card, you have to make a choice: big gore or horrific exploitation. You don't get to do both. Jul 23, 2008 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review At least in previous entries, we could follow the conflict. Here, we’re lost in a garbled display of over-editing and flashy direction. Rated: 0.5/4 Sep 6, 2023 Full Review Shaun Munro Flickering Myth Saw IV marks the point at which the franchise began feeling like every other major horror movie IP, straining itself to chug along until the box office dries up. Rated: 2.5/5 May 20, 2021 Full Review Matthew Rozsa matthewrozsa.com It was a bad movie overall, but it perfectly captured the zeitgeist of a terrible year through its awfulness.
