Brian B This movie captures a time and place, with a sense of nostalgia. Every main character is going through something, and how they all try to lean on each other at various times is what makes this movie truly resonate. The lead actor may seem somewhat stiff at first, but ultimately comes across as very believable after you understand what his character has gone through. His female counterpart, as well as his mother, both shine. You leave the film feeling something, and hoping that each character eventually finds what they are missing. Simply a beautiful film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/24/25 Full Review Billy M Well acted, thought out, and directed. What begins as predictable and something you've seen a million times turns into an exploration of who the two leads are, the mistakes they make, and how deeply rooted they are in their parents mistakes. Sam's journey leads him weirdly same territory as his father, who took his own life before the start of the film, by the end of the movie and Ellie forced to live with the consequences of her mother's mistakes doesn't realize her own until she sees how it hurts others especially when she immediately tries to shrug off her part in it. Its two teens forced to be adults in a world with no answers. The film comes off as more real than it should and that's a good thing. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Say You Will is held back by occasional wooden acting from star Travis Tope, but it really made me feel.
